The University of Sopron is proud to announce the official release of its latest campus tour video, offering a vibrant, student-led look into life at Hungary’s premier "Green University."

Designed specifically for prospective international students, the video follows three students - Alex from Pakistan, Vanessa from Germany, and Aida from Kazakhstan - as they explore the historic city of Sopron and the university’s diverse academic faculties.

The film highlights the unique character of our four faculties, showcasing how historical heritage meets 21st-century technology:

  • Forestry & Wood Engineering: Viewers get an inside look at the heart of Hungarian forestry education and the architectural beauty of the newly reborn "Building F."
  • Pedagogy & Economics: The tour emphasizes our family-like atmosphere, personal mentorship, and the market-ready skills provided by the Alexandre Lamfalussy Faculty of Economics and the Benedek Elek Faculty of Pedagogy.

True to our identity as a "Green University," the video captures the lush environment of the University’s Botanical Garden and our commitment to sustainable development. Beyond the classroom, it showcases the active student life in Sopron, from sports in the modern athletics hall to community events at the Ligneum visitor center.

"One of the biggest benefits here is the community," says the film’s student hosts. The video highlights the guaranteed dormitory placement for international students and the Mentor Network, ensuring that every newcomer feels supported from their very first day in Hungary.

Choosing a university is a major life decision, and this tour provides a transparent, "behind-the-scenes" look at the facilities, the city's safety, and the vibrant student community.

For those applying now, the video offers the reassurance that the University of Sopron isn't just a place to study—it's a place to belong.
